Amazon – Boats And Motors For The Amazon – BRA004

In the Amazon the main “roads” are the many rivers and tributaries that cross the region. Most communities are located along the water and many are reachable only by boat. The work of evangelizing, planting and supervising churches and church workers, and supporting and encouraging the believers is highly dependent on boat travel. PAZ maintains a fleet of mission boats of several sizes and types, but our fleet is aging and many of our boats are passing their useful life span. PAZ needs many new boats as well as new and replacement motors to help us keep pace with a rapidly expanding outreach and complete the work of reaching the Amazon for Christ.

The project goal of $15,000 will finance one 40′ wooden boat with diesel motor, or 5 fast aluminum boats with small outboard motor, or an assortment of diesel and outboard motors for new boats or as replacements in existing boats.
